VORSICHT vor dem neuen Hotfix!

Blizzard has applied a hotfix that has reversed the recent change which allowed temporary weapon buffs such as Poisons, Mana Oil and sharpening stones to persist through zoning. The reason for this was that Blizzard believes that the weapon buffs that persist through zoning are causing server lag, but the hotfix had a pretty nasty bug. Applying Mana Oil to any weapon will remove the weapons enchant permanently whenever you zone or log off. Corsica posted this on the North American boards:

Applying Brilliant Mana Oil to ANY weapon will remove its enchantment upon log or zoning. This is an issue new to this morning, 08/15/06 and has been tested. The bug is 100% repeatable. Here are the steps:

1) Have any weapon with an enchantment. Benediction with +55 healing for example.
2) Apply Brilliant Mana Oil to Benediction through the trade window
3) Logout or Zone
4) Log back in.
5) +55 Healing enchantment has been REMOVED.

DO NOT USE MANA OIL until this issue is fixed, guys.


Das betrifft den heute aufgespielten Hotfix auf die US-Server. Ich hoffe nicht, dass dieser Hotfix mit dem selben fatalen Bug so auch auf die EU-Server aufgespielt wird. Mal abwarten und nach Aufspielen des Hotfixes austesten. Vielleicht nicht gerade mit +55 Heilung
